Day 1: Fes to Midelt

Your adventure begins with a hotel pickup in Fes. We head south through the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing through the alpine-style town of Ifrane and stopping at the Cedar Forest to see the Barbary macaques. Continuing to Midelt, famous for apple orchards and mineral deposits, you’ll enjoy stunning mountain views and a peaceful small-town atmosphere. Overnight in Midelt.

Day 2: Midelt to Merzouga

After breakfast, we travel through the Ziz Valley, with its endless palm groves and dramatic scenery. Passing through Erfoud, known for its fossils, we arrive in Merzouga, gateway to the Erg Chebbi dunes. Here, a camel trek awaits at sunset, leading you to a desert camp where you’ll enjoy dinner, Berber music, and a night under the stars.

Day 3: Merzouga to Ouarzazate

Rise early to witness the sunrise over the Sahara, then ride camels back to Merzouga for breakfast. We then journey through the spectacular Todra and Dades Gorges, where cliffs soar dramatically overhead. Driving along the Rose Valley and Skoura palm grove, we arrive in Ouarzazate, where you’ll spend the night in this cinematic city.

Day 4: Ouarzazate to Marrakech

On the final day, visit the iconic Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and filming location for many famous movies. We then cross the High Atlas Mountains via Tizi n’Tichka Pass, enjoying scenic landscapes and photo stops along the way. Arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon, concluding your unforgettable Sahara Desert adventure.
