Day 1: Marrakech to Dades Valley

The adventure begins early with a pick-up from your accommodation in Marrakech. Crossing the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka pass, you’ll enjoy panoramic views of valleys, Berber villages, and changing landscapes.

The first major stop is at the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its earthen architecture and appearances in blockbuster films. After lunch in Ouarzazate, the journey continues through the Rose Valley and on to the Dades Gorges, where impressive rock formations await. Overnight stay at a hotel in Boumalne Dades.

Day 2: Dades Valley to Merzouga

After breakfast, explore the dramatic Todra Gorges, where cliffs soar over 300 meters high. A short walk through the canyon offers a chance to appreciate its natural beauty and tranquility.

The road then leads towards the desert through Erfoud and Rissani, towns known for fossils and history. By afternoon, you’ll reach Merzouga, the gateway to the Erg Chebbi dunes. Here begins your camel trek across the dunes at sunset, ending in a desert camp where you’ll enjoy a Berber dinner, music, and an unforgettable night under the stars.

Day 3: Merzouga to Marrakech

Wake up early to witness a magical sunrise over the dunes. After returning to Merzouga by camel, you’ll rejoin your driver for the journey back to Marrakech.

Along the way, the route passes through the Draa Valley and the Anti-Atlas Mountains, offering another perspective on Morocco’s landscapes. A final stop in Ouarzazate allows you to revisit its cinematic atmosphere before crossing the High Atlas once again. The tour ends in Marrakech with drop-off at your accommodation, marking the conclusion of an unforgettable desert experience.
