Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Cedars Forest – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga Sahara

Your adventure begins with an early pick-up from your hotel or Fes airport. Travel through the scenic Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping first in Ifrane, famous for its alpine architecture and clean environment. Continue to the Cedar Forests, home to the Barbary macaques.

After a traditional lunch in Midelt, journey through the impressive Ziz Valley, lined with palm groves and dramatic gorges. By evening, you’ll arrive in Merzouga, the gateway to the Erg Chebbi dunes. Here, a camel caravan awaits to take you across the golden sands to your luxury desert camp. Enjoy Berber music, a delicious Moroccan dinner, and an unforgettable night under the starlit Sahara sky.

Day 2: Merzouga – Rissani – Erfoud – Ziz Valley – Ifrane – Fes

Wake up early to witness the magical sunrise over the Sahara, a truly unforgettable moment as the desert glows with shades of orange and gold. After breakfast at the camp, ride your camel back to Merzouga.

Continue to Rissani, once a major caravan hub and now home to a bustling traditional souk. Then head to Erfoud, famous for its fossil workshops that showcase the region’s geological heritage. On your return to Fes, stop again to admire the panoramic views of the Ziz Valley, and pass through Ifrane before arriving back in Fes in the late afternoon
