Day 1: Arrival in Tangier – Chefchaouen

Welcome to Tangier! Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by The Best Morocco Tours team and travel in comfort to your first stops: the legendary Hercules Cave and Cap Spartel, where the Atlantic meets the Mediterranean. Continue through the Rif Mountains to reach the peaceful blue city of Chefchaouen.

Day 2: Sightseeing in Chefchaouen

Spend the day exploring Chefchaouen’s blue-painted alleys, the Grand Mosque, the Kasbah, and the Spanish Mosque for panoramic views of the town and surrounding mountains.

Day 3: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes

Visit the UNESCO World Heritage Roman ruins of Volubilis, then explore Meknes with its monumental gates before arriving in Fes for an overnight stay.

Day 4: Guided Tour of Fes

Enjoy a guided tour of Fes: the UNESCO-listed Medina, Royal Palace gates, Al-Qarawiyyin University, Bou Inania Madrasa, and artisan workshops.

Day 5: Fes – Ifrane – Merzouga Sahara

Travel south through Ifrane (the Switzerland of Morocco) and the Cedar Forest before reaching Merzouga. Embark on a camel ride across the golden Erg Chebbi dunes and spend the night in a desert camp under the stars.

Day 6: Explore Merzouga Region

Wake up to a desert sunrise. Visit Berber nomads, explore desert oases, and enjoy traditional music and culture in Merzouga.

Day 7: Merzouga Sahara – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley

Journey through the Todra Gorges with their dramatic cliffs before continuing to the Dades Valley, famous for its kasbahs and lush palm groves.

Day 8: Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech

Travel via the Rose Valley and the High Atlas Mountains. Visit Ouarzazate and the UNESCO World Heritage Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou before arriving in lively Marrakech.

Day 9: Guided Tour of Marrakech

Discover Marrakech with a local guide: Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, Koutoubia Mosque, the Medina, souks, and the bustling Jemaa El-Fna square.

Day 10: Guided Tour of Marrakech

Head to Essaouira, a charming Atlantic coastal town. Explore its UNESCO-listed Medina, fishing port, ramparts, and sandy beach.

Day 11: Essaouira – Casablanca

Travel to Casablanca. Visit Hassan II Mosque, the Corniche, and the city’s modern landmarks.

Day 12: Rabat Sightseeing – Tangier

Discover Morocco’s capital, Rabat: Hassan Tower, Mohammed V Mausoleum, and the Kasbah of the Udayas. Continue back to Tangier.

Day 13: Departure from Tangier

Enjoy some free time in Tangier before your transfer to Ibn Battouta Airport for your departure flight.
